Introduction

Done Dose ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what the Done Dose app for iPhone, iPad and Android keeps on your device, what it sends to the services that run it, and how it handles data from Apple Health and Health Connect.

What Stays on Your Device

Done Dose has no account and no cloud sync. Your medications, doses, schedules, injection sites, inventory, weight and other check-ins, side effects and notes are stored in a database on your device. We don't keep a copy of them on our servers.

Information the App Sends

Usage analytics

The app sends usage events to Amplitude and Aptabase so we can see which features are used and where the app falls short. Events describe actions such as opening a screen, logging a dose or starting a subscription. Some events include health details:

• The type and value of a weight, energy, mood or appetite check-in you log in the app
• The name of a built-in medication preset you choose, such as semaglutide
• When you add a medication, which compound in the app's built-in list it matches and that compound's group, such as semaglutide and GLP-1. A name you type is only compared with that list on your device and is never sent; a medication that matches nothing is sent as "custom".
• The name and severity of a side effect from the built-in list
• The injection site you tap on the body map
• A medication's name and remaining amount when its inventory runs low

Events never include your notes or other text you type, except where noted below. Amplitude events are linked to a random identifier created for your device, and Amplitude also receives your device model, operating system, language and an approximate location based on your IP address. Aptabase events are linked only to a session that changes every hour.

Crash reports

When the app crashes or hits an error, it sends a report to Sentry with technical details about the error and your device. A report can include the data the app was working with when the error happened.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. RevenueCat receives your purchase history and subscription status, linked to an anonymous identifier, so the app knows whether you have Done Dose Pro. If you redeem a promo code, the code and that anonymous identifier are sent to our server to check it.

Quick entry

If you add a medication by typing a description in Quick entry, that text is sent to our server to fill in the medication form.

Apple Health and Health Connect

With your permission, Done Dose Pro reads and writes weight in Apple Health (on iPhone) or Health Connect (on Android). It reads your recent weight entries so your weight chart includes readings from your scale and other apps, and it writes the weights you log in Done Dose so your other health apps can see them. It does not read or write any other type of health data.

• Weight read from Apple Health or Health Connect is stored only on your device.
• It is never sent to analytics, crash reporting, advertising or any other third party, and it is never sold.
• It is used only to show your weight in Done Dose.
• You can turn sync off in Done Dose's settings, and revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Health Connect.

Done Dose's use of information received from Health Connect adheres to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Advertising

Done Dose doesn't show ads, doesn't use your data for advertising, and doesn't sell your data.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We share information only with the service providers named above, which process it on our behalf to run the app, and when the law requires it.

Security

Everything the app sends travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data on your device is protected by your device's own security.

Your Choices

• Edit or delete any medication, dose or check-in in the app
• Export your data as a CSV file, a full backup or a PDF report (Done Dose Pro)
• Delete everything stored on your device by uninstalling the app
• Turn off reminders in the app or in your device's settings
• Ask us to delete analytics data linked to your device by contacting support

Health Information Disclaimer

Done Dose is a medication tracking tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with your healthcare provider regarding your medications and health decisions. We are not responsible for any health outcomes related to your use of the app.

Children's Privacy

Done Dose is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
